I've read as a guest off and on over the years--I liked the idea of longer hair but that's as far as I ever went.
I figured I would try joining and being more serious about my hair. I've sorta guessed at the hair parameters (porosity, fineness, etc.), so that's probably where I'll start exploring.

I haven't measured, but right now my hair is around chin length in the front, and roughly APL in the back.
Historically, it's around this length that my hair will suffer a lot of split ends and tangles, only for me to cut it and repeat the process. I think it's some combination of friction and lack of moisture, so that's something I have to explore.

I've always had a lot of volume, but over the last year or so I noticed a lot of thinning, so I have to explore potential reasons behind that. Ideally it's a short term cause.

Reading it all out like that, it's a little overwhelming, but I look forward to learning from you all!
