Wear hair up for a month/few months/year challenge!

I have three ficcares that I've been rotating through, but always a LWB or a Nautilus. As much as I want more ficcares, what I have is perfectly good... though I wouldn't mind a simple black one I have a primavera, a lotus, and an acetate currently.

Funny you say this because I’ve been thinking about getting a black ficcare! I almost always wear mine with a cinnabun, though - rarely a lwb or nautilus.

I should probably get back into this, again. Most of the time I do wear my hair up, but I haven’t so much over the last few weeks.

I think I should start putting my hair up and covering it with a satin scarf, because that seems to help with moisture retention. If I don’t, I’m in huge danger of doing an emotional chop and that wouldn’t be wise.

I mean, black goes with everything...

One month down! I'm going to keep this up (haha) probably indefinitely unless I have a really good hair day!

Day 18: 2 French twists w ends pinned up

I think I'll start a 2 year challenge for myself. This last year I got past waist but SOOO much has been ripped out due to lack of keeping it up and protected. I think I finally realized I'm at the point where if onwant nice hair then it needs to be up all the time. (Maybe with the exception of a handful of date nights) I do wear my hair up probably 90% of the time. But without fail if it's down something is getting ripped out.
One thing that's difficult is my hair is SILKY! And wants to slip out of my nautilus bun. I have another style i do with a French braid that I may start doing again. I just know starting today my hair being is up is the rule not exception.

I have started again this challenge as I realized that I am Always wearing my hair up due to my 1 year of baby boy who enjoys playing with It. For the sale reason I can't use hairsticks either....
I am at day 9 today and I will take the challenge until the end of September. I am mostly doing a simple braid (english, dutch or french) but I hope to discover some more on-the-go haitstyles.

So glad I have joined this challenge...I am always out of time and I was looking for an easy updo...I finally found the one who really works for me: the Knot Bun
Why on Earth I haven't tried it before? Oh my...

This is the updated list of my hairstyles since I have started taking note of how I am wearing my hair during the day

1 - English Braid
2 - Dutch Braid (hair down for 3 hours)
3 - French Braid
4 - Chinese Bun
5 - 2 English braids
6 - Dutch Braid
7 - French Braid
8 - English Braid
9 - Dutch Braid
10 - Knot bun
