A LWB made from yesterday's English braid. This is what happens when I'm lazy with my hair.
Dear Fiorentina, I followed sarahlabyrinthīs video for log roll: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJobxzOAXqs . It holds very well for me and itīs so comfy to me, that I donīt know I have any hair at all. Itīs a nice change from all the hairstick buns too, because this one has to be secured with hair clips or claw clips - and those are available in my country in many styles, unlike hairsticks, so I can get some new beautiful ones for this and that makes me happy.
Aithne, log roll is one of the most secure styles I have tried so far, but that is certainly because everyone has different hair type and length and this one just *happens* to work for me. I also have not tried to secure it with some hair clip in the shape of ficcare or flexi-8 (which I donīt own), but a regular claw clip - and that works amazingly for me.
SandyBottom, your log roll looks amazing!
Today Iīm wearing the neoma knot for the first time. For an easy bun to make, the result is definitely a wow-beautiful bun. I will try the braided version tomorrow.

That is so great, I am very glad hearing it, Nefcerka
Also thank you for all the information you gave to me. I must say that video is a precious instruction and I could learning from it.
My thing was, I have noting other than fork and sticks so holding that log roll in place was a difficult undertaken and wasn't working as well as I needed it.
May be I will buy some other hair accessories, we will see.

A nice bun makes the day.
Thank you! The hair on my crown area is very thin (probably from years of high ponytails and tight braids), but the flexi was comfortable.
Thanks Fiorentina
That's nice of you to say! I wasn't sure if I had done it right with how to secure the top part, but I guess it worked out okay after all.
That's not lazy! It's practical and smart. It's like when you make a roast chicken for dinner one night and use the remainder for chicken salad sandwiches or chicken enchiladas the next.

I am wearing a LWB, but I made it a bit different as usually and I think it looks better this way. Now the does not look like an egg anymore, it’s more round. I like it.

Yes, Fiorentina, as you said in the other thread, one can never have too many pretty hair accessories.
Not lazy, but gentle to your hair. I too am wearing a braided neoma knot and I used the english braid I slept in, I didnīt bother re-braiding. I thought it would look messy, but no, it looks better than if I tried to make it so.
Love the comparison.
Haha, an eggIīve seen so many LWBs here and on youtube, and they all look different from mine

That is so very true Nefcerka, I really said it.
In the meantime I browsed trough some online shops and saw a lot of very lovely claw and clips.
So, pretty soon its time so see what can be found in my local shops....
What do you think makes exactly the difference? Can you describe it? Is it the same with forks and sticks?

My hair is loose today, as it is most days now.
