Thank you!! This is the best it ever looks, it's been looking rough lately. Today I washed with Vo5 strawberry shampoo, I used "Hask argan oil repairing deep conditioner" (a single use pouch, it's a protein treatment).

I brushed through Not Your Mother's Curl Talk defining cream, and I scrunched in Kinky Curly Curling Custard (it's a gel). I diffused with no heat for like 10 minutes, then air dried for maybe an hour, then scrunched when it was totally dry.

To me, it isn’t the length of the hair that makes it beautiful…it’s how well it’s cared for. Short or long, hair that is looked after, is always beautiful. 🥰


The only shot I have currently, is this one that I posted in the “how are you wearing your hair today” thread (taken a few weeks ago). Cut me some slack because this was a self-timer shot and I wasn’t in the exact position I should have been to show the full bottom. Not perfect but you get the idea. I don’t have fairy tail ends but I also don’t have a perfectly thick hemline either. It’s likely time for a trim but I’m putting it off.


I will get better shots in future. And no, of course my hair is not naturally this smooth and straight-ish…i wish. My new T3 airbrush gets all the credit. It has turned my big wild bushy hair into something way more manageable and tame.

It has been how long since I was on this thread? Lots of fabulous pictures for me to catch up with!

I had another surprise yesterday when I was walking into the house after my hair got rained on and then dried…



I had forgotten how much my texture had changed and that I’m now far more wavy than I used to be so I wondered where the spiral came from!

As a bonus, I took an updated length shot this morning: I’m planning on trimming to around tbl tomorrow. I will be asking a friend who is trained as a hairdresser to cut it for me if we get a good time during the morning classes he runs. As a fellow long hair I should be safe enough showing where I want it cut to.
