    Joining here! Just reached BSL. Will put an updated pic in my avatar. BSL to waist usually goes quick for me so hopefully that will be the case this time around.

    Now growing for fun!

    Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've last commented. Congrats to all of you that have made it here!

    I've been having a lot going in my life and I didn't manage to chip in here. But it's so good to finally be back!

    Lately, I've been struggling with my hair. I am too harsh of a critic on myself, and I've thought to chop it all off to my shoulders. I am glad I didn't actually do it. It's never good to act on impulse. I think the frustration came because I've been trying to do the 6 months no trimming challenge, but I always had the urge to trim. So I did cut about 2 cm last month, to see if my urge to chop it all off would disappear - and it did. I don't think I can manage to wait that long between trims. I'll try to go every 3-4 months or so, that's more doable for me. It will grow slower, but I'll still have longer hair by the end of the year.

    Oh, and I've also moved in another place, and now I can take length shots more frequently .

    That looks pretty great. At the end of the day, what matters is what makes you happy, so frequent trimming it is.

    @Diana Prince

    Like you, I like trims and have found the happy medium of twice a year. Your hair is so soft, shiny and pretty.
    Congrats on the move.

    Thank you! I saw you trimmed your hair recently, but it definitely doesn't show! It's longer than ever.

    Joining!! I just reached BSL/MBL recently. I want a nice thick hemline, so I'm creeping towards waist and doing 1" trims like every 4 months. One thing I've noticed that makes a huge difference for me is using satin scrunchies instead of regular hair ties
