Fox's Shea Butter Conditioning Cream

I've made a similar recipe to this before and it just did not work for me. I'm not sure if it was the shea butter or what. I tried using it on wet hair vs. dry hair in various amounts and my ends always came out crunchy. I divvied up the rest of what I had and gave it to my friends who had more success with it but I still don't know what to do with the considerable amount of shea butter I bought.
