When my hair was around APL my favorite style was a braid clipped up with a ficcare. I think there’s a picture of it in my album, but basically I would just do an English braid, flip it up so the tail was at the top against my head, and clip over the hair tie that secured the end of the braid, letting the tail drape down to the side. It only worked for a while, but was great when my hair wasn’t quite long enough for a secure bun.
