I tend to have wispies no matter the length, as my hair is fine and tends to slip out of every style . I also cannot wait to do high buns. I think that's the perfect length for me, as I can put it up and forget about it all day long.

I understand the struggle of growing out bangs - fortunately they do not suit my face shape at all so I've been shying away from getting bangs even though I love them on other people.
I hope you'll get to this stage soon!

Aw thank you!!! My hair grows between 7 and 8 inches a year, so a little above the average 6 inches per year, so just a little fast
Huge congrats on Collarbone btw, it looks so super cute on you!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to growing it back out without the layers and with significantly less bleach! <3

Right, I have the same problem! And with low buns or ponytails, my front hairs fall out into curtain bangs! Which is cute and all, but super annoying. I just want my hair out of my way!!!

My bangs are past chin length so I’m getting pretty close I think. A few months maybe?

I also tend to have wispy hairs no matter the length, particularly at the nape of my neck and at spots on either side of my widow’s peak. Just how my hair grows I think. Right now though some of my hair at the back is too short for high buns/ponytails but I think in a few months that’ll be grown out enough as well

You'll get there! You start your hairdressing education soon right? Studying may help a lot with keeping your thoughts occupied .

I was so happy when my bangs finally got to chin length! Made putting them up so much easier .

Same with the wispies, I have so many babyhairs all around my hairline and in the nape of my neck. Don't think those will ever grow really long. When I still dyed my hair, they would just immediately break off. They can be really annoying, but most of the time I like them. They make buns look a lot softer .

I've decided I'm fed up with the shorter layers in the back, so I did a mini-chop.
I'm back to shoulder and I'll be here for a while
I should have probably cut two cm more, but I was afraid I'd lose the ability to braid or bun it. I may be able to trim that gradually.

    ST,

from the pics...it really doesn't look like much of any length was lost, but yet there are so many more positives seen in the after photo. (not to say even ends aren't good too..but) Even ends, no lost thickness, still completely full and thick, what's not to like?
