I measured today and it looks like I have about 8 cm/3.5" to go. I was hoping to reach APL by the end of the year but it seems impossible unless I have a sudden growth spurt.

I hope that APL to BSL is more manageable than this awkward not-long-but-not-a-bob-either stage. I'm so looking forward to wearing my hair up in buns but it feels like forever until I'm at that length. But first I have reach APL and and try to avoid scissors until that milestone.

I've seen a cinnabun done on hair just past shoulder length. To get it to work you need to twist less and instead fold your hair into place.

Good luck! From your pics I don't think your far off from being able to bun it.

The next bun I could do after this was a lazy wrap.

I used this exact tutorial recently. C: With my hair thickness/layering/etc., it only worked now, past APL in length, but the tutorial is really good!!

I've been keeping track of the length since March, and that's when it was visually at collarbone. Thanks to the trim last month to align it with the nape hair, I had a setback. And turns out I called it "CBL+" for half a year now! At least I can do more updos now, though.

Was at 30", decided to chop off most of the bleached hair I had left, so now I'm back at around 22". Just about to APL, but not quite!

I know I JUST posted here and I did not expect this, but after taking an unintentional length shot, I think – it's officially there? First-day-curls there!

There is always going to be a mix of strands that reach/don't reach it depending on their mood that day, but I think I feel comfortable calling it now.

Congratulations ynne!! I'd say you could have called it long ago, it looks well past APL
