I wish to have orange hair. I could use a permanent orange, bit then there's the harsh rootage. And I have been using veggie dyes for the most part, but I want to try something different.
I have tried henna once before. It was years and years ago, back in high school. I got a packet mix from The Body Shop, and it wasn't ground, and the smell made me feel really sick 'cos it smelled like tea. So I could only stand to leave it on for so long, and because of seeds and other stuff on it, it was a nightmare to rinse out.
I know baq isn't like this, so I'm hoping for a better experience this time around.
There are a few different options I've come across that I can easily get ahold of, and I've ruled out ones that aren't that good also. So my remaining options are Lush Caca Rouge, Radja (and two other names) from India, and the Light Mountain (with different animals on the box) via Amazon. They all have an "orange" based option.
I know the last two have to sit for longer in order to release the dye, so the length of time the procedure takes is not a problem.
I'm just wondering which is the best brightest orange out of those?
I know henna doesn't lighten. Just any orange tone to cover my hair is what I'm aiming for, so my natural colour is different.
Thanks in advance, and let me know if I should make my own thread.
