    This is my goal! I am at BSL right now, at the middle of my thick bra strap. I’ve got about 5 inches to get to waist!

    My longest racer hair is at waist stretched! My curly hair still stubbornly appears a bit below APL. I'm not going to call waist until some more of my ends catch up though.

    I'm estimating that I need a bit over 10cm/4 inches to reach WL (I'm tall but quite high waisted). I'm going to have two trims this year. So at least 10 months before WL for me, unless I get some crazy growth spurt and/or skip trimming.
    How much do you plan to trim off for this year?
    BSL -> MBL -> WL (almost) -> Hip->TBL!

    I usually have around 1 cm/0.5 inches trimmed at once so unless something unexpected happens, I should be losing only 2 cm/1 inch or so this year. Though I'm tempted to join the BSL to WL by Christmas challenge, go trim-less this year and just grow for the sake of getting longer faster... We'll see!

    Since my hair isn't growing as fast as i would like to, so i think i will settle with a micro trim after the quarantine, instead of a large one.

    I want to be at waist by New year..

    OMG, I don't know how you or anyone else can get away with trimming so little or not trimming at all without your ends becoming very dry and damaged, and yet still being able to grow in length! Your hair strands must be super resilient!

    Sounds like a good plan!

    Are you part of the BSL to WL by Christmas 2020 thread? Wanna have our own little challenge and try to race to WL by NY with me

    Haha no, my hair isn't very resilient in my opinion. For the past two months I have been itching to get a trim because my ends are def getting dry and grumpy looking. I have been able to trim so little for now because I started growing from SL, shorter hair and not too old ends equals more resilient ends and not much trimming. I'm not sure if this is going to change a lot now that my oldest ends are around 4 years old. Going to need to consult my hairdresser once I see her again and she can check my hemline.
    Also, maybe I'm able to tolerate dry and damaged ends more than some other people? Some of y'all may have higher standards for your ends than me lol!

    Looking forward to watching the mini-WL-challenge! I'm part of that thread too but I'd just barely make it to waist by Xmas with good growth.

    I haven't truly trimmed since I joined here, elfynity! Just S&D a few times... I guess I've pretty thoroughly transitioned to benign neglect. By the time I get to waist, I might want to do some micro-trimming.

    ETA: Thanks, fred! Looks like you're getting really close to waist!

    That is such a neat goal to have! I hope you make it!
