Shoulder | Armpit

I’m between SL/a couple cm above because my hair is super uneven right now.

I’ll be happy once my hair is firmly below my shoulders. Should only be a couple months, I’m guessing.

My hair is a couple of inches below my shoulders with a few strands around my face that are only past my chin, as I have layers. I try to keep it up as much as possible because I have a tendency to play with it and become obsessed with treating, styling, etc. So I'm making conscious efforts to leave it alone, "benign neglect" if possible. We'll see how much I manage. I don't have a certain goal length at the moment, I just want it to grow. I would very much want to try terminal length, but from how short is it at the moment that seems like decades from now...

My hair is only a few inches above shoulder length so I’ll be able to join in a few months or so

My unstretched hair is ALMOST touching at APL even with my cut last month of about ~1" off just the tips. First day after wash (once dried) is when I have the most shrinkage and it sits right above APL but day 2 and onward its riiiight there!

I am going to wait until it looks solid at APL before I call it but wow this has been a long time of waiting. Especially with two trims in past 6/7 months to even out layers and get rid of the driest ends.

With 3B hair that must've taken forever, but I bet it's gorgeous, I love curls.

I'm nearing collarbone length, and I think I'm nearly to the point where it doesn't flip out so much.

I think I'm right there at APL sooo happy! My goal was to reach it by my birthday which is in March, I think I will wait 1 more month to call it! I can't believe it!

For the record, I cut my hair to SL back in August, so about 6 months ago.
