I am going to the gym 5 times a week, so hopefully it will help too, something I do it's after I work out, I wash my hair, put on a hair treatment and I sit in the steaming room for about 15 minutes, I feel it has helped me tremendously with my hair quality, my hair is definitely softer.
Anything that increases blood flow or benefits overall health is good for hair growth, but equally important is to give your body rest so it can actually build and repair itself.

Giving it more thought, I can think of a lot of ways exercise could benefit hair growth!
Circulation like you said, but also sweating cleans the pores, so it could potentially clean out blockage.
And I know people on here have talked about hair loss due to stress, and exercise reduces stress.

Yep, however, in the stress matter one needs to remember not to take it too far. For example, I triggered telogen effluvium (aka a stress response) with a stress-reducing diet simply because it was such a big change.

december 11th 2019 (when I began my hair growth journey) Collerbone length
january 7th 2020 Past my shoulders, Arm Pit Length if you squint
january 19th 2020 Arm Pit Length

Perhaps I am too hopeful to see my hair growth and should space out my progress pictures farther apart, but I get so motivated by seeing my own progress.

Goodness! You're totally right, a shock to a person's system isn't helping anything. Gradual change is always better and more sustainable.

    I'm back.

I think that I've made mistake cutting my hair in short layers on the front, in December.
Maybe I should have just grow and wait patiently, but I've become unsatisfied seeing the big difference in length between front and back. I really had a feeling that nape hair was growing the fastest.
So, yesterday I trimmed 4cm to even my hemline. It feels so weirdly short now.
I feel big regret not so much because of yesterday's cut, but for those short layers in December, gah..

My hair is 49cm long now and my APL is 53cm. Three months to go.

I think I'm joining you in this thread guys. This is my hair wet and I think it's definetly SL already? But this is my hair naturally air dried:

and I wouldn't call it SL yet. What do you think?

I called mine when it was just starting to brush my shoulders. Maybe just slightly above. but the difference isn't big to me, I'd personally go ahead and call it, what with the curls.
There's not a good term that I'm aware of for between chin and shoulder, so might as well hop onto shoulder.

I was very close to calling APL tonight after a successful towel test, but after taking a photo of the back, I realize that I might have a couple of cm to go.. No reason to rush, right?
