Are you planning to get rid of the layers?
Thanks! And yes, now that I think of it, when I stretch my hair, the layers lower on my hair really are about collarbone length.

I don't plan on getting rid of all the layers. Once I reach APL, I'm going to go get it shaped and leave some layers around APL/collarbone. (Any shorter than that makes it annoying for me). I tried having a bob once. Never again... My (now I know it is) wavy hair gets all pyramid-y

I just got layers put in
My stylist did it to let me keep my length while keeping it boring.
I'm 100% still counting just my longest layers.
If I don't have to measure from my flyaways I don't have to only count the short layers

I also got some new layers, I think. Or at least they show more after my recent trim. I don’t mind that all my hair isn’t the same length, though. At this length, it would be an awkward look for me with one length hair, I think. I also got some “bangs” in the front, which I didn’t have before. I think it makes updos look a lot better, and it will give me some patience with growing out my hair. Also counting the longest layers! I got my previous U-formed hemline cut straight, so I feel like most of my hair is the same length anyways.

I'm so close to hitting apl. But since my hair is wavy I can technically consider this apl? I can stretch the longest piece to there. I've been stuck at collarbone for a century.
I guess this is the part where I write a signature? I dont have one. 🤷

I'd say it's up to you! There isn't an APL police running around or anything lol.
I can see how some longer bits are at APL. At the very least, it's way past collarbone.

Try taking a picture from behind while you are wrapped in a towel (towel markes the APL line). Your hair falls more straight at the back than your front, so you probably would hit APL there.
Don't regret the chop, but now I want to see how long it can get

I’m back at APL again after my recent trim, so it’s time for me to graduate this thread.

I usually only finger comb but I actually brushed my hair for this photo, it makes it look much fuller than usual.

    Happy growing everyone!

Hi all, hope you’re all growing well! As we’re reaching a new decade I wondered if you have any New Years resolutions for your hair?! Mine are:
    - no heat (unless special occasion)
    - keep doing oil/treatments
    - wear my hair up every day (or at least almost every day).
    - I am going to try just washing hair every 4 days. I’m doing every 3 at the moment so it shouldn’t be tricky to stretch another day & as I wear it up every day it won’t really make much difference I don’t think.
