Hello everyone!
After a major cut from waist length to bob haircut and shaved beneath, I'm now at shoulder length (and neck length - the underneath). Though I liked the haircut right after and my head felt super light, lately I so miss my long hair... My god, it feels like It will take forever to get there! G-R-O-W!

Welcome to the forum and this thread! It DOES feel like it takes forever! However, I had a look at at a picture from a year ago, and my hair is drastically different. It does grow!

What's everyone's favorite hairstyles for shorter hair?
I'm just starting to play around with more hair accessories and styles, but so far all I've got is half-up and in a headband.
What do y'all do to keep it fun?

I used to enjoy ponytails at that length

Also peacock twists.

Honestly, I think I've been wearing my hair up in either a tight ponytail or bun held by an elastic since before summer before entering this forum. Just bought a hair clip some days ago, and I've worn it ever since. Before my hair was long enough for a ponytail, I twisted my front parts from a middle section on both sides back and secured with bobby pins. I'm also attempting braids of various sorts, but they don't last that long because of my layers..

I mostly ponytail at shoulder length. I attempt a peacock twist with a ficcare or a flexi clip but because my hair is layered it does not stay up. I’ve attempted braids but, again, it only lasts a few minutes.
I miss putting my hair up in buns, because I can more easily forget about my hair. At this length everything falls apart after a short time so I have to keep redoing.
I keep a list of all the hairstyles I want to try, but most of them I need much longer hair.
