How many of us, who are growing to APL are left here?

I'm now in the strange stage where one day I feel and see that I'm close to APL, and hair looks longer, but the next day it feels like only shoulder length, like from a month ago. I can't wait next measuring to see what was happening this month.

🙋🏼 I’m still here! I’m in the benign neglect stage right now. I may have my dear hubby take a length picture next time I have it down after washing. I truly haven’t checked my length in quite some time.

I think I've found mini solution for how to ignore chasing last 3cm to APL. Today I started to check how much do I have until BSL. Even if it's longer way, and even if I'm far from BSL, to me this seems as a less pressuring. Just like when I started to grow form SL to APL, where 2-3cm were not so big deal.

I'm still around too! I'm trying really hard to benign neglect myself throught this stage, it's working okay for now. I get the urge to cut about once every few weeks. Still don't know if I'm going to get it cut (as opposed to a dusting at the end of this 6 month no cutting period) when I reach APL or at later moment.

It's about 3cm/1.25inch untill APL when wet yay!

I’m above shoulder length again. I asked for 1/2” trim and ended up with 4” taken off. I’m disappointed but at least now I don’t have an asymmetrical cut. I’ll be back here in about 8 months.

Congratulations nox & missmuse. Lovely hair & looking forward to seeing you on the next thread! My longest layers (most of my hair at the back) are about half an inch away from APL but as I still have layers I am planning to grow for a couple more months then have a little trim to even it out & thicken the hemline so I think I’ll be here growing you with guys until Christmas. I’m so looking forward to being able to call it though! And yes, can’t remember who said it before but microfibre towels & silk pillow cases - or in my case a silk hair wrap to sleep in = complete game changer. My hair is sooo much healthier.

Thank you Star_fish! Your longest length looks APL to me so you could call it if you're feeling antsy and want to graduate . I waited until my front layers were there since they're the shortest and I didn't feel APL yet, despite my longest layers blowing past APL when I wasn't looking lol. Your hemline is already off to a great start though It'll be really thick and even if you trim it back!
