In other news I thought I was closer to APL than I actually am. Measured today with a towel & I am at least an inch away, perhaps 1 1/2 inches. I think I had my head back a bit when I measured last time so it looked closer.

I’ve worn it all day today and it’s a bit dishevelled but it’s so comfortable I don’t care! I’ve had lots of migraines recently and this feels weightless, it’s lovely.



Your post inspired me to give it a go for a special occasion today! It was a friend’s birthday picnic by the river, so I knew it might be a bit breezy and I wanted my hair tucked away. I also knew that nobody there would bat an eyelid because they’re quite a bohemian bunch, and that gave me the confidence to just go for it.

I posted a picture in the hairstyle of the month thread, I guess it makes sense to put it here too. It’s mostly scarf, the plait doesn’t show much but I quite like it for being understated.
