All of these growth pics are very encouraging... we are all getting closer every week. Almost makes me want to go and check out my hair but alas I'm in bed ready for sleep . Happy growing everyone x

I agree with what you said about keeping the hair healthy in order to enjoy it while it's growing, unless you're like me and your hair just does not look good short no matter what (unless it's styled with heat) and the length of it just makes you sad. In that case I think it's better to 'race' to a length you're ok with, so looking in the mirror doesn't make you sad, and then take care of the health.

I agree with you, LongHairM.

We need to do what works for us, personally.

Okay so... I'm not sure whether I should be calling APL just yet, but I found this picture from February and compared to one I took last night and look at that growth! I honestly didn't realise it had even grown much until seeing this.

I'm currently at 21.5" and APL is technically 22" on me so I don't want to officially call it until the numbers match up, but there's no denying the bottom few strands are definitely grazing that towel!

Let's hope the next month of growth has me officially graduating the thread

I am a person with very little of it, lol! Trimming a little while growing is, in my humble opinion, a good decision...in the long run ( pun intended.) If we keep our ends trimmed, or even dusted, we will enjoy how our hair looks and how it feels. The trick is to enjoy the journey to APL and in order to this we need to pamper our hair, and trimming the dry/damaged ends is pampering at its best.

This is what I thought and practised long time ago, while I grew long and healthy hair patiently and with a lot of care. But I don't know how did I get into this vicious circle of CL and SL. It lasts for years. This is the first time in my life that I give priority to length above nice hemline. I hope I could resist trimming until January, and then I'll decide what's to be done.
