Well, I did hit waist, but the ends looked so thin and pathetic I trimmed a little more than an inch. So now I'm waiting to hit waist again... But in the meantime feeling ridiculously pleased with my hemline. Which really isn't impressive to anyone else...

Welcome all newbies

So this week I discovered I've been measuring my waist wrong my entire life, it's about .5" to an inch higher than I thought it was. Dumb, I know. But good news for my hair journey! It makes me that little bit closer to waist, about three inches to go now...

Looks to me like you are right at waist already at your longest section, Lily-white.

I'm about 3" from waist yet. I keep cutting. :P I'm at mid-back currently, which is an awkward phase for me. I look ok at BSL, and then at waist. At mid-back I feel like it makes my trunk look kind of off balance. Maybe because I'm so short. (27" is fully waist for me.) I like to wear my hair down, so waist is my goal and once reached I will keep it there with frequent micro trims. I've been TBL a couple times and found it too long for me to wear down, which I enjoy, so I'm just going to stick to waist.

Hey I can join! I’m at about MBL, and I just got a nice two inch trim; it definitely helped my ends and in turn made my hem line look thicker(as thick as it can look for thin hair) BUT I am excited to grow further! I’m to the point where I don’t mind if it takes a while, so long as it’s healthy ☺️

Hello! I’m going to join the party. I’m just at BSL but am working on growing it longer. No definite goals as of yet, but want to get to at least waist/hip length. Figure that we keep me busy for a bit.

I'm new to the board but have been lurking for awhile. I'm at 26" nearly BSL and then onto waist. My hair has quite a bit of grey so this time growing it has been a different experience. Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress and learning from all of you.
