Thank you, I think focusing on my skin will help a lot to stop thinking about my hair as my skin is neglected and in a bad state.
I've successfully managed to stop thinking about my hair by focusing more on my much neglected skin. Regulating a skin care routine, plus having job stress, life changes, and school to focus on really does wonders for benign neglect (not that I'd recommend the stress ;D )

Suze, your hair is stunning! The dark brown color, the glossiness, the straight and silky texture, the full hemline... the ends don't look even remotely bad in the least, in my humble opinion. Is your mom a hair dresser herself? It amazes me that she'd concern herself so much with such a matter. Some parents are just critical no matter what you do. Once you trim it per her wishes, she'll probably move the goal posts and demand something else of you. So you just keep on keeping on and rocking your no-trim challenge and long hair! It's beautiful, and we strangers on the internet have no incentive to lie.

Taking a break from LHC really helped me to stop thinking of my hair so much. Meanwhile it’ll still grow. I wonder how much it grew since my last monthly picture. I should try and take a pic tomorrow or Sunday. Hope I do not forget.
I'm usually not super worried about length these days because this length is long enough to do a lot of cute braided halfups and I'm glad my hair isn't longer while I experiment with water only. If I ever get anxious about growth, I can always try out heartless curls.![]()
