I find it easier in the summer too. I peacock twist it when wet and then I'm able to leave it. I love being able to go out with it wet. My fringe has even got long enough that I can pin it back to dry instead of the blow drying I was doing on it until recently.

I use either a flexi or a barrette. I'm on the thinner side of a ii, as a iii YMMV.

You are all so right. The best way I've found to growing my hair is to get into a routine of using what it likes(for me that's diluted shampoo and acv rinses) and then forgetting about it.

Back on topic, though! I finally made apl!!!!! I can't believe it! I think the last time I checked in I was cbl and that was back in December. I didn't think I would make it to apl (front and back) until June. Hopefully I can get another inch or so before my sister's wedding at the end of June!
