I have thick hair, so proper buns are quite a ways off for me. Hoping to be able to braid again at APL though!
I know what you mean Joyful Mystery. I have my first ever hair fork coming in the mail and can't wait till my hair gets long enough to use it. Have also been eyeing off some stunning hair sticks in the "wear all your hair toys once" thread that I would love to get but no point yet as being able to use one is a long way off I think.
Thanks for the welcome Hey_jules![]()

I'm on my way to APL, hopefully I'll get there by August. Here's my starting picture:
I have about four inches to go.

I think I'll hit APL by September ish, I hope. This is such a long distance on me!

I looked at pics of my hair (taken from the front) from January and now and I can barely see any difference so I have no idea when I will reach APL?![]()
I just measured. From CBL to APL, I have 3.5" to go.
Do you have any type of wave in your hair? If your hair is slightly wavy at all it'll likely eat up some length once it reaches the shoulders and "flicks", which can make it look the same length for a while. I think likelikepenny's suggestion would also help with noticing growth![]()
