I'm right at bra strap length this month. What exactly qualifies as waist? I know sometimes it differs. I'm going to see how many inches I have to go once I figure out where its at. Whatever it is I am hoping that its about 6 inches away and that I'll reach it in about twelve months

Waist is your waist line. So the smallest portion of the torso.

It looks like you might be closer than you think! Id say you could probably make it there by the end of the year

I'm not who you were asking but I wear my hair down a lot. I just don't seem to have the face or face shape for an updo... Do you think this contributes to a lot of mechanical damage and makes my hair to appear to grow slower? Some members hair are able to grow to waist without using protective style. But protective styles help if you want to go longer.

I have a long back too. Sigh, lol. But that means my hair should measure longer, right? But when I try different buns (even those for apl/bsl) my hair never seems to be quite long enough. I usually wear a french braid for sleep and sometimes during the day, also. I do wear simple buns at times, but sometimes they cause headaches. I don't seem to be able to measure my hair consistently so I'm not sure of the length in inches. Anyway, I do end up wearing it down quite a bit....that could change as it gets longer.
