I am trying to just do occasional micro trimming to try to thicken my ends, also. You can see the thin ends in my siggie, it's not a very clear picture. But I'm not sure I'm doing it often enough to be of much help. But when I reach waist I will be a bit more aggressive.
And then there is that shiny silver spot at the crown that looks like a bald spot, sigh. It has thinned but not that much.

Hello everyone!! I think I'm currently at BSL. I wasn't quite sure because some people wear their bras upper and others lower, sooooo... I just waited until I reached the bottom of my shoulder blades.
Am I the only one who hates this length? It isn't short and neither long.... I can't wait until I have it at waist!!!

It is an odd length.....I wouldn't say that I hate it but like you I can't wait for waist. But I try to think of it as getting closer to waist. But it is not long enough to do many styles and it is aggravating at times.
And your hair is very shiny and pretty!

How long could it take to grow from bsl to waist?
I know every one is different. But I can not wait to say my hair so long. It is bsl now.

My longest layers are a couple of cm past BSL, and the bulk of it is hanging out at BSL. I should hit waist this summer, longest strands June I think and will be solid waist by August.Originally Posted by Rehab350
Really it depends how far you have to grow, average is half an inch a month, or about a cm. it could take ages if you're tall and trim regularly, or be a matter of months if you're petite and don't trim. Realistically it will have taken me about 7 months from stretched BSL to stretched waist.

Mine has taken about 9 months, but I'm long waisted. I did one big trim in between (~1") but otherwise let it grow and mine grows at .5" month. Should be at waist by April. Soooooo close

I just trimmed off my fairy tale ends which were at waist, and am now a solid two inches at least from waist and I feel like its going to take forever to get back to that. However, I'm quite pleased to not have wispy ends anymore
