So I tried a Tangle Teezer last night. So very impressed. And there was less sheds/brokens after detangling than with my normal comb/fingers. I'm so impressed! Yippi! Maybe between this and a sulfate/sulfide free shampoo we can get some better growth going...

I've been resisting buying a TT because I really don't want to give up my mom's Goody brush (it's plastic but the bristles are cut varying lengths like boar bristles - it's from like the 60's I think!) but my hair is starting to get mechanical damage now at this length. Maybe I need to break down and buy one!

Why is it, I got to WL without even realising, and after cutting back to BSL, it's taking forever to get back there :-/

I resisted too because its such an odd thing, but it works pretty well! I'd get it and try for a week and if it doesn't help the damage return it! But I'm one who will return anything if it doesn't work for me I didn't want to give up my wooden brushes, but this works so much better for detangling than anything else I've used in the past.... Even without detanging sprays or things!

I've been in this group a couple of times since joining years ago and am back again! I have about 2 inches till waist but with some bleach damage and less benign neglect than Id like it might take me a little while I'm hoping for waist by maybe march next year and then I'll be maintaining till I'm happy with the condition

Going to try and actually update and comment too as its such a great way of not being tempted to bleach / over trim!
