How many hair product items do you have?

I have:

1 shampoo bar (need to restock)
1 bottle of my white vinegar/conditioner/essential oils acid rinse mixture
1 bottle of coney conditioner
1 bottle of cheap/lightweight conditioner
1 tub of leave-in conditioner
1 bottler of coney serum
1 jar of coconut oil
1 bottle of mineral oil
1 bottle of my "cleansing milk" mixture
1 bottle of sulfate-free shampoo

So that makes ten exactly. Huh, oops when I first counted I forgot about my sulfate free shampoo. I also don't know if they "cleansing milk" counts as a separate product because it's made of my cheap conditioner, my sulfate free shampoo and water. So just a combination of things already listed. I guess my vote of <10 is still accurate if you think of it that way.

2. Conditioner
3. Grapeseed oil (although I prefer sweet almond oil)

I thought it would be worse. I have bazillion hair toys.

And I just finished off some Aveda shampoos, conditioners, and masks. That's probably my favorite line, so I go through those products quickly.

These days it's different. I have an entire *hoard* of stuff. Cupboards full. I am just now finishing up my oldest (10+ years) shampoo and it's still OK. I am on my second bottle, because I had two of the Nivea Hair Care shampoo for normal hair. It's fun to finally finish those up. Then I can gradually move through the rest of my oldest shampoos.

I have far less shampoos than conditioners and hair masks, though. Plenty of those!

Never really knew shampoo would keep for so long i have quite a stash of older ones (10 yrs to 13 yrs old)some that have since been discontinued...safe to use or do i throw them away?

Most likely too many i have a stash of old and new shampoos and conditioners..never satisfied so keep buying others to try...

1-33 oz bottle of each product; 1 in the closet and 1 in the shower:
*Hubby uses the silver and moisture products also
*I only order them 1-2x/year

offtopic/ Groovy granny I just bought the joico intense hydration and was wondering how it works on your hair? I wanna ask before I try it next time I chelate my hair.

It works great...I let it sit a few minutes while I shower.
My hair is fine, and it is not heavy/greasy at all.
It should be good with your hair type.
