Hello, not sure if I qualify to post here just yet but I took some photos of my hair for colour identification purposes and noticed that it might actually have reached BSL? Please can you tell me if I am there or not? Thank you

Straightened hair and this is when I noticed my bra strap through my top!

Blow dried and brushed as straight as possible but frizzy mess and may have lost a bit of length with the wave.

Same as above but further away

Sofialu, it's hard to tell for sure, but it definitely looks like BSL to me. Congrats.

I wasn't sure as it just seems to be touching and I don't know if BSL is classed when hair is fully covering the bra strap?

Well, that depends on the person, how high/low you wear the thing, and so on. If most of the hair is touching the strap, it may as well be BSL. That can vary with a thick strap, then you'd call it somewhere in the middle of that. That's what I'm gathering from around the LHC.

I called it when I reached the middle of the strap unstretched. I am still midstrap, but I couldn't really call it APL anymore, so I figured I might as well call it BSL.

Thank you both. I've had a look with my bra on this morning and the longest underlayer of my hair touches just below my bra strap (not stretched or straightened) so it definitely is! I'm a little shocked as I had a couple of inches, plus layers, cut not so long ago so I didn't expect it to be BSL already

Congratulations again, sofialu! That's exciting! turtlelover, yeah, that's definitely a good way to look at it.

BSL came up on me really quick. I only wear sports bras so there's no way for me to say when my hair really hit BSL. The bottom of the "strap" is about an inch from my waist, so, uh, I just called BSL when my hair looked like it fell where everyone else's falls at BSL. So, I didn't realize it was really 100% there until I measured and realized how close to waist I was. I'd presume I'm an inch to 1.5" below BSL.

I pulled my hair down today to see where it got to. It came all the way down to waist. I'm not officially calling it that until this happens consistently.
