sweetaj, thank you again! My waves are actually perm curls taken ~9 months ago

And the colour... hahah don't even mention it, it's faded green direct dye which refuses to leave

Amennah I love your hair! Congrats on your milestone.

Since its now November, I took a length pic which basically looked the same to me, and also a towel picture. Only when my hair is wet and combed straight do the longest layers reach APL. I think Im going to hang out in this thread for the month of November as well.

I agree with Amenahh, your hair looks very long! Also pay attention that your towel is not tucked up as high as you could (like I did with my towel test photos, lol). If I were you, I'd call APL already!

ReadingRenee - I'm agreeing with everyone else - it looks super long! And I agree with arctic - it looks like your towel isn't up as high as it could be.

Joining the thread!
I cut my hair off a few days ago to about an inch or two below collarbones. I had hair down to my waist before, but all the hair that I cut off had been dyed for years and was very damaged. My hair feels way healthier/thicker now. I have no real routine yet but I would love advice! Right now I just use regular garnier shampoo and conditioner, wash about every 5-6 days, use argan oil as I need it. Comb my hair with bear bristle brush every few days. I have really dry hair and I want to grow it out as long as possible and take good care of it but there is so much to learn!

Thank you! I guess because I see it every day and growth is gradual, it doesn't look long to me. It's very helpful to have an outside opinion.

Thanks Arctic, I have a really hard time getting the towel pulled up, keeping it up and then taking a picture. lol Maybe I will call it APL... I realized that BSL is only about 3-4 inches away with my hair wet today and I was wondering if I had abnormally low armpits or something.

I love doing that too. I love reading old threads. I actually read this whole thread before I posted it and I have been slowly working my way through the APL to BSL thread. There are some people on there who are now at classic.
