I have a long torso and short legs. For me, sholder and APL are very far apart. APL, BSL, MBL are very close together. And I think I have a low waist because waist and hip are very close as well. Thanks for the reference to the Inside Out Style blog, Arctic. I struggle with dressing for my body type all the time.

For me, shoulder to APL seems the longest. I measured a few pages back, but I can't remember what it was exactly (probably around 6 inches). APL to BSL and BSL to WL are roughly 3-4 inches each. I'm not sure if that makes me long or short torso though.
I was just looking through some pics I took this summer - I took one on 7/29, and my hair was barely skimming shoulder. I got it trimmed a few days later. Since then (about 3 months), my hair has probably grown about 3 inches, if not a little more!!!!!!! (I haven't measured to be exact.) I cut my hair to chin in late December 2014, and it only grew roughly 2 inches in 7 months. I call this GREAT PROGRESS! Obviously something I'm doing is working.

That was a really good idea - I have now measured and it turns out that waist to hip is my biggest gap, but only by an inch. Shoulder to APL is the next biggest, so no wonder it feels like I'm not making much progress! The gaps between APL and BSL and then from BSL to waist are about half the size, so should hopefully seem comparatively speedy. Seems like for a fair few folk shoulder to APL is their biggest gap, so no wonder this feels like the growing hinterlands! Thanks to everyone who responded, this is interesting.
Congratulations! I love the fact that this growth seems to have snuck up on you : ) A great advert for not obsessively measuring. I'm not going to measure my hair or take any length photos for the rest of the year, it's too easy to become discouraged. I might do quarterly photos next year because I've been looking at that thread and the progress is inspiring. Don't think I will ever take up measuring though, lol, I'm awful at it.
Anyway, do you credit anything in particular for your great growth?
Pol - The 2 things I've been doing the longest are taking biotin and I switched to co-washing, which means more head massaging in the shower. I hadn't worried about measuring because my hair usually grows so slowly, and with the curls, it's hard to measure anyway. And I haven't quite figured out how to take length shots without getting hubby involved. (He thinks I'm crazy already!)
Hmmm where exactly do we measure hip length?
