^^ Well, I do find difficult to put it in a sock bun... I used to have better waves when my hair was BSL... now? not so much lol...

I'm having the same experience! Fun with updos, but I try not to look in the mirror *too* much because they are a bit of a mess. My layers don't help at all.

I don't even have layers, just extremely stubborn hair! It's a pain, I'm hoping that it will be a bit easier to deal with when it gets to waist. Still having plenty of fun with messy updos, though!

Gosh, I spent years hiding the scissors, growinh out my curls, and i'm so happy to be back here with long locks! I haven't had them since I was 13!!!

I just called BSL, here's my graduation picture

My plan is to grow to waist this year. I do plan on one trim, because my ends and layers are getting a bit scraggly. After I reach waist I will maintain there and grow out my layers, so I will be here for a while. Looking forward to growing with you all!

Can I join in? I'm not totally convinced that I'll be at wasit by the end of this year, but get this... The last time I measured my hair, I triple-checked and I was at 25 inches. Yesterday I did a tiny trim to strengthen my ends. Measured today and I'm at 25.5 inches. What sorcery is this?! I won't complain though.

Amen. SL+ was the glass ceiling for me.
