I did post these already in a thread i made but thought i should post in this thread. Not sure why my hair is making this shape. Other than i have so many layers yet from the buzz cut. Happy growing

I cut my waist length hair to shoulder a few months ago just to get rid of the layers, color, and damage. Am a few inches from APL now. I can usually pull off a few updos by APL, so I'm looking forward to having it up this summer. Thought about selling all my hair toys when I chopped cause I didn't think I'd regrow it, but am glad I didn't since I'd like to regrow to BSL or so.

Which updos are people (esp. those nearer shoulder-length than APL) doing? My repertoire doesn't really go beyond cinnabun and gibson tuck. I don't have any hair toys at the moment, and don't know which would be the best investments at this length

houlihan, my current favorite hair toys are bobby pins and the smaller claw clips. If I'm not being really lazy I will make two braids and cross them in the back of my head and either clip them together or pin them to the opposite side... it looks nice. It works if you just separate the hair into two parts and roll them too.

Just popping back in to say hello to everyone that's joined this thread! After doing more calculating, I think I'm going to end up shorter than APL for my wedding in August. This makes me nervous as I wanted to do an updo, plus the hair in the back is shorter than the front. I'm considering clip ins so I'll have enough hair to do something with, lol!

I think I might be APL stretched! Still got 2" to go curly, and 1" to 1 1/2" brushed. But I'm going to stick around here until I can call it curly.

I've got 7" till bsl, which I'll just reach by next Christmas. Does anyone else want to have a bsl by Christmas 2015 challenge? I had a search and couldn't find one, if there is one I'd really be thankful for a link, or if anyone would like to make thread that would be awesome too.
