I love claw clips! I have found some strong plastic ones too, that hold my hair as well as a ficcare....at least for my hair type! I need to share pictures sometime soon. I just ordered another one from Ebay, and I hope that it will be just as strong.

The only time i reach for claw clips is when i'm sectioning my hair. For small amounts of hair, these are fast and affordable. But that's about it really

I use claw clips too!!! and I actually love them, and using two at once, one on each side of my bun, makes me look like I have two butterflies on my hair! I actually have a couple from Shoppers Drug Mart that have a spring just as good as the Ficcare, don't snag one bit, and I can sleep /nap with them, if I have two ( one on each side of the bun)

There are some pretty nice claws made of French acetate, for those with more money to spend.
and my forever claw from the bathroom, to keep my hair up when it's full of oil or conditioner, wow, that thing must be 10 years old and thank God it still lasts, it never broke one hair on my head!!!

Would make a refreshing change from all the sticks and forks there.

(Mine is not a claw, though I do like them too, but a beak clip, which I just posted there.)

I love claw clips too. My Rite Aid has a beautiful selection of clips all sizes . I still grab for one when I am in a rush. The small ones are nice for half up styles. The medium ones to hold a bun nicely when I am around the house.

i got the same claw clips (the tiny floral ones) as KittyBird and have been wearing 2 of them in cinnamon buns for the past few days. they hold so well and are so comfortable!

I don't usually wear claw clips but because of this thread, I dug them out and I'm going to start using them again! I don't have that many either but I love the ones I do own. I wear them in one of three ways: small ones clipped around the perimeter of a cinnabun, a large one to clip back my hair temporarily-usually a very messy log roll, or as a sparkly accessory that doesn't do any holding power. claws are by FAR my most reached for hair toy! especially small ones- 1inch jobs. oh, but i have a million of them, in all different sizes-- from huge banana ones to 1/4 inch micro minis that are most likely intended for little girls.

im a claw junkie, and im trying to shake the habit.
