I love claw clips but all the ones I find in stores lately have weird gummy "grip" on the inside that catches and rips my hair. It's a little maddening!

And rubytuesday, I know what you mean about having a long neck... I'm very tall and long necked and my shorter friend grew her hair out longer than mine in half the time "longer" because her build is much more petite/short than my giraffe neck.

I love being tall - apart from when it comes to growing my hair. At 5ft 10" tall it takes me so much longer to grown than many others. I keep telling myself, I am NEVER cutting again and this is the shortest it will ever be. My face needs hair! I remember wailing when I first had my pixie "I suit hair more than most people!". My family thought I was being a drama queen, but I am convinced that without long hair I do NOT look pretty! Vain, moi?!

I've been traveling for about six weeks so I haven't been thinking about my hair at all... but I just measured my hair yesterday (because I missed my monthly measurement at the beginning of July) and I am still not at 21 inches. I had my mom check the measurement for me...so I might measure again and do it myself. Oi! I feel like my hair has gotten so much longer though. Growing hair is so tough!
