I could have sworn I was almost there, but DH measured my hair for the first time in a while and I am at 28 inches only. What the heck? I was expecting like 29 or 30 inches. Crap.

It's all henna on bleached hair (I was chemical dying a light ginger and then I switched to henna, still lightening my roots slightly because the contrast in regrowth is too much for me right now!) My hair is severely damaged from lots of pre LHC chemical dying and heat styling but the henna has completely turned it around, that stuff is magic, I swear!

Thank you everyone for the really nice compliments, I'm a bit shocked, not used to that haha!

My next goal is getting all my hair in a Low Loose ponytail without anything falling out...
Waist seems so far away for me right now and I'm growing out layers.

I grew out layers not too long ago they're a pain. I do love my v hemline but no layers. I do wish you well on your growing out your layers.

OMG. I'm growing out layers too!
I told my sister this and she's like, "Ew, all your hair will be one length? That's boring." But my braids look like crazy hair monsters because of all the escaped strands. The day that my braid looks neat and tidy like it's supposed to is the day that I have a party.
Besides. I don't need layered hair for my hair to be beautiful. My layers are almost gone and my hair is still pretty, or at least I think it is. *shrug*

Guys! I'm only 3 inches away from waist. (if I stretch out my waves).

God I hope to hit waist before Christmas. I'll be ecstatic if I hit it before Thanksgiving!

Oddly enough, the closer I get, the easier it is for me to resist trimming my hair unnecessarily.
