I did a compact-cut of 1/2 or 3/4" off my ends, and trimmed my bangs back to chin length. The ends still feel a little Velcro-ey, but I'll wait until fall before I trim again.

Gonna join this thread. I am just bsl. My goal is waist. Got a good year to go. Hoping by my 50th birthday(13 months).

Stopped dyeing my hair 29 months ago and its all natural now.

Everyone's hair looks so LONG. Jealous!!!

I don't know what's going on here. I measured before, and found I was at least six inched from waist (which would mean at least a year of growing for me). But these last couple days, as I'm brushing my hair (with a Tangle Teaser), when I check things out it seems my ends are maybe an inch or two away from my waist. I think my hair is trolling me

So I just took length pics and compared them to June of last year. My hair is EXACTLY the same! How is that possible?!?

Ugh I'm so depressed and frustrated. I've only gotten one trim in the year and it was only about an inch. Does this mean I'm at my terminal?

I swear my hair is shrinking ... I mean that is what it feels like with my curls. Will I ever get to waist curly? It feels like I have been at this length forever.

Arwenlily, I know that EXACT feeling...

I took this photo the other day and that is when I could see the comparison... About 1.5 years of growth and it's hardly budged, but it still looks a LOT better than it use to!

I did a cholesterol and deep conditioning treatment I forgot to wash and condition my hair pryor to treatments. My hair looked longer while I was doing my treatments.

Ok so this is from yesterday. I am "recovering" from a pretty big shed. I guess I can see a little differnce from last June (in my sig) but not much. I did get two trims probably about 1" each, total 2".

I wouldn't mind maintaining where I am but the ends don't seem to want to thicken up at all! I'm thinking of trying the monistat treatments.

Also I really would like to trim again because of the whispy ends but that keeps backfiring. Oh hair, just cooperate and GROW!
