Tea Tree Oil for Henna/ Hendigo Removal

I did this last night and it certainly did something. I had blonde highlights under my henna and now I can see them peaking through.

Honestly, the smell of it was so bad that IDK if I will do it again soon.

Does anyone know how damaging this treatment is to the hair? Can it be compared to bleaching?

definitely not nearly as damaging as bleach!! Tea tree oil can be a bit drying though. Lots of people use it as a treatment for problematic scalps.
