Shoulder | Armpit

I'm going out of my mind!!! I'm just past shoulder length, and I can push my hair behind my shoulders and it will stay there. My problem is the back. It looks like c@@p. I've got long layers and the bottom 3 inches of my hair look see through. This is the length I usually whip off a couple of inches. (When I'm not growing it). When I had it this lenght or longer in the past I used a heated wand to wave it and it looked nice. I don't want to do that though now obviously.

I have also stopped drying it upside down with a hot setting, so it also looks a lot flatter than normal.

What do I do with it? I've worn it up for a few days, but I like to wear it down. Will it get better in a few inches or do I need to trim the bottom a little to grow out the layers. And if I have to do that, do I try and get to apl before I start trimming so I at least feel I am getting somewhere.

I hate this length.

I did the towel test and I'm like RIGHT on the line of APL in front when stretched, the back still has like an inch and a half [at least, according to my measuring tape.]
Hopefully the inversion method will seem to work again and I'll get another extra half inch this month!

I feel like my hair grows so slowly, but by my birthday (end of May) I want to be solid APL!

emilylightning - Congrats on the growth! Have you really seen a difference by using the inversion method? I keep thinking that I'll give it a shot...and then forget about it.

Im right at shoulders and obviously i need to get to APL to move on to MBL (my ultimate goal) but yeah. i notice shoulder-APL takes forreeeeevvver

Yep, I belong here now, too! I'm past CBL wet, at CBL dry about half the time because my 1c/2a hair is rather temperamental about how much it sproings up. I've had 2b and 2cish days lately, especially when I scrunch with flaxseed gel.

So... I'm using "being able gather all my hair into a loose side ponytail" and "being able to gather all of my hair into a ponytail atop my head" as my mini-milestones. I'll probably hit both around March. APL probably won't be until August.

I'm in. Just cut out the last of the henna which took 1.5 years to grow out. Am now at collarbone.

Collarbone here too. I think I have about 4 inches to go till APL. I'm going to get dh to help me measure it tonight. Do we measure wet or dry? Stretched or unstretched?
