Well it looks like I need to find a new hair journey thread. I chopped it all off into a pixie on the 26th so I am no longer in the BSL to Waist category but I am still growing my hair out I just decided to get rid of the damage and start fresh. Thank you all for the support and suggestions you've given I really appreciate it and hopefully I'll be back here soon (I'm sure you'll all be moved on by then though) Happy growing!

I just want to share a HUGE shock i just got!!!!!! :O Usually i measure my own hair but i never felt confident that im measuring right so tonight for the first time i got my husband to do my measurements AND instead of being 30 inches at waist im in fact 31!!! :O ALSO my hair IS NOT 26 inches like i thought i was from my last measurement from some time in Sep/Oct, but in fact i am verry close to 28 INCHES!!!!!!!!!!!! :O WOW!!!! Although, this is not a huge number difference, im still shocked that i was wrong!!! Im very happy with this

Can I claim to be MBL? Anyone else with these measurements is claiming MBL now?

Yay, I'm calling this waist right now! My mom commented the other day how my hair is down to my waist, and she isn't the most supportive person. She doesn't even know about my plans to have a meter of hair, only that I like it long. So, when she said it's to my waist, I chose to believe her! The longest hairs really are that long, though the majority is still somewhere on the way, but this is good enough for me. I'm so happy! This has been my dream since childhood, but somebody has always convinced me on the way that my hair needed cutting, and it has always stayed between shoulder and midback. Not any longer!

I just realised today I'm back at BSL! I cut my hair right back to just below my shoulders a while ago because of my hair falling out due to illness and medication, and had been maintaining at SL+ for about 2 years. I haven't been massivly focused/stressing over growing it, just letting it grow. My hopeful goal is side parted waist length hair with a side fringe in a kinda forties look side wave. I'd also like a small side cut on the opposite side of my waved fringe
