    Those spectacles!

Does scrunching it in a t-shirt help to reduce frizz by any chance?

flemeister: I usually get loads of frizz anyway, but it's supposed to cause less frizz than terry cloth. At least for curly people
Vallena: Aww thanks Didn't want to put it up but I had to for work >_<

I find that although it doesn't help much with frizz (but my hair is more frizz than anything else- the only way to really reduce it is to air dry completely but sometimes I just don't have 6+ hours to let my hair air dry) it does help with softness / not ruffling up my hair too much, and I feel like it's a lot better for breakage. I think if you were someone with just a minimal amount of frizz it could reduce it enough to make a difference. I also haven't towel dried my hair for over a year so I don't really remember frizz level before, but it's definitely worth a try if you have a big tshirt lying around!

CG since Oct 2012. Stretched hair hits APL, curls are closer to shoulder length!
CO wash, no cones / sulphates / heat / bleach. Lots of moisture / ACV / EVCO!

I'm so lazy about doing my hair before work. I do it when I get there usually, but before that... its too early for me to think!

    Beautiful, askan! Sure you're not a 2a?

Speaking of scrunching in a T-shirt, I have a small cotton t-shirt that I use to squeeze the water out of my hair after a shower [very gently of course] and then I do this strange thing where I basically create a little pouch for my hair and the sleeves tie around my neck to hold it up. I may have a picture somewhere... I'm not sure how to explain the steps either :S I'm not good with words.

BF did my first four week measurement since my big chop. The BC was seven weeks ago, but we didn't start measuring until three weeks later. I've grown just a smidgen over an inch in the last four weeks! That puts me just a little over an inch from APL. And most importantly, that means these wretched short layers are growing! I love layers, just not when they're this short. If this keeps up I should be graduating this thread shortly after New Years.

I'm right there with ya on the aggravating layers, and hoping to reach APL by New Years, or soon after! I have to trim soon though...dangit. My ends are getting ratty. I'm only an inch from reaching my mini goal, but having to trim makes it take so much longer! Started DE a couple days ago though, and hoping it'll boost my growth enough to reach APL soooonn!
    Good Luck!

Haven't been on here since Oct. 1st. Still growing, haven't measured. Just wanted to say "Hi"! Everyone is growing GREAT! Welcome to the Newbies! Emily, the wig looks pretty cool!

Okay, I just checked and my longest layers are definitely apl when stretched!
Oh, and I finally did a french braid this past week with out my shorter layers falling out!
