Yeah! From here on it's just going to be the bun it up and ignore method. I won't even S&D and I've not had a trim since my buzz cut and things are still fine thanks to my coarse horse hair texture. For me it's the diligent everyday bun updo that has helped me along the way. I've now switched to a cone free routine for cold weather, and now I use a heavier oil like EVOO mixed with Japanese camelia oil. Any change in your routine for the cold seasons?

Looks like i've graduated and didn't realize it according to the next thread after this! Good luck everyone! Crumpet, I'll see you soon and of course i'll be seeing you at the hair toy threads.

I guess my words of wisdom for this thread is "bun and ignore." I did literally without any trims, and the routine I did was heavy oiling once a week, finger combing like Sharysa, pigtail braids for bed, hmmm and that was all I did along with my once a week wash hair routine with just V05 CO and air drying with no towel drying. Oh and I hung around the hair toy threads all this time.

Thank you! I have not changed my mind yet, it's happening saturday evening :P

I love your signature btw, it's so pretty - did you do the drawing yourself? Is the text a poem?

GAH! My hair is just brushing the top of my thumbs when I put my hands at waist. SOOOOOOOO close.

The text is a poem. I love long hair so much that I thought only poetry would do! The drawing is done by another but I liked it as well.
Best of luck on whatever decision you make

Congratulations on graduating to next thread, rowie. Your hair looks lovely and will only continue to look more beautiful as it continues on its journey.

I'm so close but my hair is starting to split again and I can't find my hairdressing scissor! I need to go and buy new ones but that means dragging my behind all the way to boots. Unless I can find some on amazon. I need to stop buying things from amazon, it's making me lazy! I also need to start eating properly again as I feel like I've stalled terribly this last month and I'm only at 29.5 inches. I was hoping to be at least 30 by now (I think waist is 31-32 depending on how my posture is). Grr. And I thought it actually felt like it was getting long again last month. But I did have it down after I'd washed it and the feel of it (after it'd finally dried) on my back reminded me why I want long hair so much, it felt so soft and flowy. Kind of like dry water. Now I'm going to go to sleep before I ramble / whine anymore since clearly I'm not fully awake. I just had to vent my frustration a little.

I did a Rowie and overestimated how much I'd have to grow to reach waist. It turns out that I am *at* waist right now. I've checked in to the W to TB thread. I expect I'll be there for AGES since I really want to thicken up my hemline. I have some rubbish layers I need to even out a bit. I hope to see you all there soon!

Congratulations Crumpet, I'm glad for you but at the same time, MISERY LOVES COMPANY !
I'll just have to wait to get into next thread and then I can have your company again.

Thanks Komao -- you'll move over with me soon, I'm sure. I also suspect I'll be checking in on you all periodically. I love this thread!
