Arelrios -- if your ends are velcro-ing then you might want to trim to prevent further damage. Otherwise, I think its the debate between desire to trim and growth, which is super-hard, I know.
Beautiful pics everyone...
In my case I'm thinking about a trim... I don't know, my ends are bothering me... they look weird to me, specially after braiding the hair... I also want to get rid of some redish tone that is only on my ends... Still debating if I should trim...![]()

Thanks Alexblue! It was great timing - just had to include it in there
Cheers Teddygirl; good luck on the next stage of your journey ^_^ It gets cross with me when it meets humidity and fluffs out in insolence, hence the name.
You're the best judge of your hair arelrios. Although it's frustrating to have to wait longer for the length to increase it does seem worth it to get the kind of quality you want.

Thanks Crumpet! Nope, my ends are not like velcro or they don't act like velcroing (can you believe I actually know the difference between normal ends and velcroing ends??? The things you learn at LHC) anyway ... as I said, my ends seem healthy, it is just that after doing braids, they look like stick straight and weird... maybe im paying too much attention? I must add my hair is very coarse and that maybe is influencing the way they look

I agree with you FuzzyBlackWaves... I am all "quality over quantity" in this case, length. I will sleep on the thought tonight and if by tomorrow I don't change my mind, I will do my trim ...

I'm in the zone between BSL and Waist, in the MBL weirdness! I just want waist! Seems like it is there, then it isn't...
It sounds like you are about where I am! Some days it looks like I'm just brushing waist and then it seems like I'm not. It doesn't help that I'm slightly wavy and pick up bun and braid waves super-easily, which makes my hair shrink and grow!
I'm putting my hair up a lot and trying to pretend I'm not thinking about it (really, I'm thinking about it all the time!!!).
YayI get to join in here! I'm calling BSL as the centre 2"(ish) of my hemline are covering my bra strap (when it's not curling up with bun waves).
My hair is now the longest it has been since I was about 11 years old.

Welcome Hellucy! This is a great spot -- I feel like Waist is where hair really becomes LONG. Congratulations on making it this far and do please help all of us be patient as we go for waist!
