I'm coming back for a while! I Decided to get a trim tomorrow. Can't take my hemline any longer. I want trim more than an inch but I'm thinking maybe like 1/2 inch but if that doesnt clean it up enough I'll go for an inch which will only set me back about 2 months and I honestly think I need it....haven't trimmed now in 1 year 9 months!

Redtus: awww they sounds like two lovely "baby" balls of fur ^^! To be on a show sounds fun, never been on one with mine (7 and 5 years old) . I have a daughter (now 6 years) and she is the "middle child" because she used to ask for siblings before and I told her that the cats are my children to and that makes them her sisters, she is still happy with that exept for a few times when she's been a bit upset that she "found out" that they are not her "real" siblings (her fathers girlfriend told her that and she was sad for a long time) I just said that she can decide for herself how she wanted it and that I knew how much she wanted siblings and that I think it is ok to have cats as sisters, animals are as much as we are, and after a while she continiued to have cat-sisters . If I say they are poopy (even in a nice tone) she use to sound upset and say "dont say that about my sister, its not nice! tell her you are sorry " I usually have to apologise to the cat then haha. I love how she cares for animals and nature, I have tought her the importance of respecting it ^^

I see, Have you just started to grow out? I think cassia would make it a bit thicker to if used regulary . If I am to grow out natural that would be what I would do ^^
hahaha sounds like we are a lot alike! now hennaed hair, natural blonde, green eyes and gets more freckles in summer. We are not the same person if anyone would ever come to wonder that haha

I took a picture when it was cloudy, it is a bit dark picture but I think the colour turned out fair, on saturday I think it was 4 weeks ago sinse the henna. and sorry for the greezyness, I have had to much to do and it is past washday :P

edit: I forgot to say how super-clever I feel! since my hair keept breaking off from hairties I came to think of using small clawclips instead to secure and it holds it better than a hairtie just hoping clawclips are more gentle now :P

YumiYume, mini clawclips! You are brilliant. I was just having a big chat with my friend about how I can no longer wear braids day in and day out because of the mechanical damage. My hair is just too fragile for braids everyday, despite wearing gentle home-made elastics. I'm digging out my little claw clips from the drawer right now (mwahh haha ha)

Also love the idea of cat-sisters. We have a little butterball of cat and don't even like calling her "our pet" (though butterball and other ridiculous names are ok ;-)
She is a member of the family. Full stop.

Alexblue: thank you ! aww, Im glad it will work for you to . I have had that chat aswell, and it was super depressing because I was so sad the hairtie made my hemline superthin of broken hairs, and now I wear my favorit style, french braid from the top and then have it over my left shoulder

I've already "graduated" from here once but repetition is the mother of learning. So I ended up neglecting my hair for a long time. I just chopped of all the damaged ends when I couldn't get a brush through my hair anymore. About three of these chops later and my hair is shorter than it was before. I also have some extensive breakage from keeping my hair on either lazy ponytails or open all the time. I have some strands growing from the top of my head that are now about shoulder length and some that are APL. Some used to be just jaw length but I've managed to grow them a bit. These are damage purely from ponytail holders I'd say.

I think I'm maybe an inch or so away from waist length. I intend to go there. But at the same time I need to manage all the damage and get some thickness to my ends so I think a good tactic right now is to trim at the rate it grows and stay around this length. Maybe keep just a little of the growth though
