I still see it from time to time - sometimes waaaaaay up on top of the head, sometimes with the loop thing fanned out like a slinky. I personally don't wear that style or much care for it.

Here in the UK that is THE current fashionable do.... personally I don't like it (and that's me being very polite about how much I don't like this style )

Inky, I have thick, layered hair. I find workarounds involving making two buns and combining somehow. For instance, to make a big cinnabun, I make a small one with one third of my hair and add strands to it as I go.
