Yes, shedding a lot a lot is not a good thing, right? I also am learning what is good for my hair, and I hope to catch up to where you are soon!

I feel like I have learned TONS since I joined in April 2012. Most recently I was reading about how ACV rinses can cause a red tone, so I switched to Citric Acid rinses. I also learned that fairy tale ends are caused by natural uneven growth over time, and that it's not damaged hair. I can't believe how much I am learning.

I've only been here since February, and it's insane how much information there is here!
I've heard of ACV causing red tones, but it never did anything to my color. Might be just because your color is much lighter than mine, and mine is fried to bits anyway...

Oh my...
Well, I just took a proper length shot, tape measure and all. I'm definitely solid APL, although I think I'll wait to call it until the next TTT. Also, I totally mis-estimated my distance to BSL. I'm only about 4" away, not 6.5" as previously thought!

I would post the picture, but I took it on my cell phone camera and it's really super teeny tiny. I can't even make out the numbers on the tape measure, just the lines!

This is where I am! It seemed like chin length to shoulder went by super fast, but it's taking forever to get to APL. I thought I was really close, but I took a good look in the mirror and my longest layer has about an inch and a half to go, and my shorter layer has an additional 2 inches after that

My shortest layers are around my chin

I'm not counting them when I say I'm APL, I plan to keep my layers and have layered long hair.
