I'll never reach waist. Last time I dyed my hair was 17th May, today I discovered about 7mm roots showing...

I may post a pic to...morrow (almost midnight here...) because I just brushed it out and oh yes I'm close! 2 months if I'm lucky... Realistically, 3...5 rather.

Ya! I will claim it as soon as one single hair brushes waist because I've been growing forever!

Here are some current length shots!

First, my hair when completely, soaking, wet. Just combed after a shower. You can see it's about 2" from waist when dripping wet.

This picture was taken the 2 days later, after my hair had dried completely from a different shower.

There are no products or oils in my hair, I CWC, no cones or sulfates.

I dunno about the measuring folks. Sometimes I get 28", then I get 27.5 and then 27 ... oh, and once I got 29 .... SO HOW LONG IS MY HAIR REALLY? I have weird temperamental wavy hair (2a that sometimes goes 2b and has been known to even go 1c) and I just can't get a proper measurement. I guess I should ask DH to do it for me.

Yeah, I get inconsistent results too I measure, then I look at how it actually looks and can't believe how i got the measurement... oh well

So, I have reached 28", 1 more inch to waist. I cannot wait to get there and start maintaining as my ends seem to be getting thinner and thinner. If i was brave i would cut up to BSL as that would get rid of most of the layers and damage.

Months ago (like two months or something?) I measured 73 cm once (4 consecutive measurements the same day). about two weks ago I freaked out when I measured 69 and I noticed growth, not shrinkage. Yesterday I measured 75. Huh? (only S&D, no trims)
These all brushed out (practically straight).

I swear it grew much more than 2 cm in those two months, people keep commenting and I can feel my hair brushing against my body at unusually low places like yesterday in front of the computer and this thing brushed once against my forearm (it literally scared the s*** out of me for a second) plus I have some greys in my part and I know I've grown 2cm+ in less than 3 weeks, more like two weeks. LOL. F*** measurements. I'm done with measurements; I'll go for pics from now.

I must assume at this point that either the moisture content/environmental humidity matters this much, or the moon stages, LOL.
