Shoulder | Armpit

It is hard to have a summer warm weather growth spurt when there is NO warm weather. Does it ever get nice over here. shesh. Last summer was terrible and this one is looking to be the same. pout.
Maybe I can wish my hair into a summer growth spurt?

I just got back from getting my hair cut, and of course I had to tell you guys!
It was great, the hairdresser really listened to what I wanted and took like 80-90% of the damage off the ends of my hair without taking too much length. She also, at my request, changed the overall shape of my hair to look more like a grown-out bob- because I was just getting so sick of it the shape it was, haha

Anyway, here's a length shot:

I'd name the salon in the interest of recommending it to anyone who lives in the Liverpool area, but I don't want to get in trouble for advertising or anything

Anyway, point is, I'm back to shoulder length now, so it looks like I'll be extending my stay here! But with healthy ends now! Yay!

Oh it looks fab! Healthy and shiny. Hint at the salon, please? My worst ever cut was in St Helens last autumn and I've been growing it out since. I have bad luck with hairdressers. They never seem to do what I ask.

(I tried to 'improve' my own layers last night rather than see a hairdresser again.)

tinfoilsally, that trim looks great. The shape looks much more intentional now. I'm sure anyone who wants the salon name can ask you through PM.

It's sort of warm and rainy here (north-eastern USA). It's supposed to be hot by next week though. I've never noticed whether my hair growth is affected by the heat or not.

Hi everyone!

I think it's time I joined this thread! I'm hovering round shoulder length at the moment, the back of my hair is just about there and the longest parts at the sides are an inch or so above collar bone. APL is my goal anyway, but once I'm there I'll see how I feel

I recently gave my hair a much needed micro trim, as well as putting my bangs back in. I've also just sorted out a build up problem, and my hair feels so soft now! Apart from some short and damaged layers, I'm pretty pleased with my hair right now. I won't leave this thread until my short and damaged layers are grown out, so looks like I'm here for a long time!

I'll post a length picture when I get my camera back, though I think it might be a bit early on to start doing towel tests haha.

rainy day here too (northeast USA as well.) I measured my hair today by LHC standards. I thought I was 17 inches-but using LHC measurements I'm 22. That was kind of exciting...even though nothing has actually changed.

Awe, I forgot my Treatment Tuesday!
My hair is still adjusting to my shampoo bars, so it might be a couple more weeks until I can properly do something with it.

Hellucy, it's a mask by Tigi, which I found in promotion, Treat me Right it's called... I was looking around the web for recipes for homemade masks, and I found a banana/peppermint mask, which sounds really tempting... Just mash a banana, add 10 drops of peppermint EO in a carrier oil such as avocado oil. The idea of banana, avocado and peppermint makes it sound good enough to eat :-)
