Ack - I forgot all about Treatment Tuesday..!

Well, I just washed my hair & applied some mineral oil to the ends, I really hope this helps the dryness.

I'm not sure if a blowdryer has enough power to stop the peroxide from working without heating the SMT too much.

    Bunnysaur, those are gorgeous hairsticks!!!!
Well, I wouldn't mind having lighter hair, but seeing the honey bleach damage threads makes me a little scared. Especially since my hair, due to moving to a hard water area, is quite fragile to begin with. You're probably right about the blowdryer... I will try and see.

If you have a kettle or a frying pan, you could try putting the honey in a mug and then place the mug in the frying pan/kettle, then fill the kettle with water and boil it for a while until the honey is hot enough.

How did it go with the CO-not-working-thing, AndreaPetrea, btw? Have you managed to find a suitable conditioner yet?
Hmm yeah, you're probably right. I don't have a kettle, but I do have a frying pan Good idea!

Well... Not very well I found my normal conditioner, and it still didn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if I am now known as the girl with greasy hair, even though I wash it every other day. Today I washed with SLeS shampoo (again) and for the first time in more than a year used a treatment with dimethicone just as an experiment. My hair still hasn't dried, so I don't know how it will work out. But I found a split hair yesterday, so I'm terrified and willing to do anything!

I am going to be on holidays for the next little bit. I am going to try to ignore my hair while gone, maybe it will feel like it has grown then.

May you all get amazing hair growth while I am gone.

I just wanted to add that as my hair is getting longer, and I've inadvertently switched off cones, I seem to be getting waves! I'm definitely still in the 1b range, but I think I might end up as a 1c or maybe a 2a eventually. AAAACCCKKKK I'M SO EXCITED!

For most of my life I thought my hair was straight, very frizzy and greasy. Since switching to a more natural regimen and stretching my washes I found out that my hair is clearly not straight, produces way less oil than I thought and my frizz these days is mainly from baby hairs sprouting all over the place

I can hardly wait until the next towel test to show you all
I've been getting some pretty crazy growth, too, I can now pull my layers back into my pony tail

I guess the rooibos hair treatment is working for you? Maybe I should give it a try... I've also switched back to a no silicone and sulfate free hair line by L'OREAL, and my hair now gets wavier and curlier when I air dry, but i'll probably switch back to cones on hot humid days because I just want to avoid frizzy hair days if I can. hahaha
