Thanks! I am trying to get back to the BSL+ hair I had before I lost my mind and went to a chin length bob. Like a lot of people have said, it looks good with a round brush and a whole lot of high heat, but boy does it look silly if you don't!

I just measured at 17" so I have a ways to go but there are so many things to try this time! I think I am going to try CWC starting this weekend.

You're welcome Is your hair in the pic blow dried? Cos it definitely doesn't look silly. You have a lovely colour and thickness.
CWC is a great place to start. I use this method as well. When you first join it is information overload here- so many different things to try and you are always excited and eager to have the best hair possible. However, if you only try one thing at a time, you can definitely be sure if it works for your hair or not. Happy Growing

I am a couple inches from APL and can do a sock bun or a cinnamon bun with a small Ficcare. I cannot use any of my sticks or forks yet, darn it! I splurged on a Ficcare so I can wear my hair up - I dislike the plastic clips. Grow, dammit!!

I just keep telling myself by this time next year I should be clsoe to BSL and wearing my toys again.

I also splurged on a small ficcare. Im sure I will grow out of it at some point, but I figure it should be good for these shorter stages cos I hate plastic clips too and I still grab hairties when I put my hair up instead of hairtoys- out of habit. Layers make forks a bit tricky so Im hoping that the ficcare will solve these issues. Keep growing!

I'm almost at APL! I have about an inch to go, so I forsee myself moving to the "APL to BSL" thread sometime in late February. Ah!! I'm so excited!!

No it isn't blowdried since it has grown out to a place that I just wear it up all the time! I just have to figure out how to get it into an updo that I can wear in uniform right now. I have got to learn how to french braid!

Just above shoulder is a bad look for me, too, b/c of the flippy ends. I did the trim/repeat cycle many times, but this time, I just determined I would not cut it or look at it, and it is finally below the lowest point of my collarbone and I love it! You just have to wait and no talk of "I'll just even up the layers..."

Ack! So.. difficult.. to resist.. that sort of talk!

Me too! In my case, I suspect the layers are contributing to the cloud of fluff effect, but I'm determined to push on through!
