Shoulder | Armpit

It's nearly July, which is my next progress shot since I decided to do it every 3 or 4 months but I actually feel like I've gained no growth and don't want to take a picture just to prove it haha. I'm not even going to bother measuring because the tape always says 18inches no matter what.

Can I even call this shoulder? It's been almost 3 weeks so I might as well get over denial that I no longer have BSL hair... I'm thankful for a place to document (admit) it.

On or before 6/22/11 - puffy from having had it in a ponytail

6/25/11 - worn curly with help from the humidity. Added a thin headband and it actually looked cute. Gasp!

Today - 6/29 - ignore how crappy it looks. It's flat and gross from two days in a high-ish ponytail. I Just wanted to attempt to stretch to show the length of the longer layer.

I know how traumatic it can be having a big chop, but it really does look cute when it's all curly.

I'm attempting the same. Eventually I want to go to waist length though.
My hair has only just passed my shoulders at the back and is hovering above them in the front. In october it was at ear length so it grew quite a bit. Still I'm so impatient! Because it is still actually short. I can only just braid it, and it looks weird:P

Eitherway, I'm hoping to get to APL before I need a trim, so it's kind of a goal/milestone for me.

ITC, I'd say that's shoulder.

I did a side-by-side comparison in my blog yesterday. I was feeling like my hair was growing soooo slowly, but after the comparison pics I feel better. You don't really notice day to day how quickly it grows. I'm glad I started documenting.

April 5, 2011 to June 29, 2011 (three months, give or take) - my head is tilted more forward in the April picture, but I'm still happy with my progress.

KittyLost I'm looking forward to the progress pic. I'm going to do one too. Its mid winter here and I feel that my hair is in a mid winter growth slump. Why!!

Especially when I'm so close to APL. *Sigh* Anyways, I'll take a pic tomorrow after its been freshly washed and dry... hopefully it wont be as bad as I think.

I am finally at shoulder length! I got a big clip (scunci concorde clip, I guess it's a little like a ficcare knockoff) and I love it! I look bad with ponytails, and this lets me twist my hair up in 2 seconds. My bangs are at about chin level, can't wait til they will go back without needing little clips.

That shouldn't be to long? Mine are half an inch or so above chin and I think I need an inch or and inch and a half more to get them securely in buns etc. I do like a high bun though

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to my shoulder to APL buddies!

I haven't taken a progress pic in two months so I'm long overdue, but I checked my hair in the mirror yesterday and I can definitely see some progress! Yay! I think I'm an inch or two away from APL at the very back. My hair is a deep U-shape so it'll take a bit longer for the rest of the curve to get to APL. But overall, it definitely looks longer.

Newsbreak though: I'm heading to the hair salon in about an hour. YIKES! I have a wedding and I'm getting my nails and eyebrows done ... and getting a blowdry (I mean fry). I hope that's the extent of it though and I don't get talked into anything more as far as my hair.

I know they will try to cut it and FOR SURE they'll want to play with the color because the roots are getting quite obvious.
