I had a dream that I was past waist length last night!! Too bad it wasn't real

Oh well at least such dreams are motivating me to keep growing and not give in to hopelessness and cut!!!

How short are you? i'm only 5ft 2 as you can see from my new siggy pic it won't be long before i'm there

Somewhere between 151 and 155 cm, so when converting.. between 4' 11" and 5' 1"
But yes, you're so close to waist, just a few inches ^^ I'll have to wait longer than you though, only my longest strands are "full" BSL

i found castor oil really helped speed up my growth, especially the layers. In fact i think i may go back to it i want to be waist by the end of the summer.

I have been in a no trim challenge since December that really made a big impact on my length.

I do scalp massage with coconut or avocado oil sometimes (don't have castor oil -yet !-), but i'm too lazy to do it on a regular basis.. But i might try during growth stalls.
And my last trim was two years ago, i like to think the shortest strands will eventually catch up ^^

I just let my hair air dry curly (without bunning like I had been) and I hate it.

I miss my hair. It's hard to know that it will take 4 months to get it fully back, 2 months to get it partially back. So I am attacking it with my flat iron. I feel like it will be okay, I spent so long babying it and not flat ironing that now I really need to lean on that until it gets longer. :/

I am sorry you are missing your hair

We are opposite, I am not missing mine one bit. When I got it cut yesterday I let her blow dry it, I figured after all this time a blow dry wouldn't hurt. I didn't let her flat iron it though, I have never liked my hair straight. Give me a large barreled curling iron, though, and I am quite tempted !

Today was one of those days in which my hair seems longer and beautiful. I feel like a long hair (not super-long hair but oh well, I have time)

My hair is like 1-1,5inches after waist when stretched out but still not quite waist when dry. Also I will cut about 2cm of my thin ends this month. But I believe by the end of the Summer my hair will be waist lenght so I'm getting pretty excited!
I need to take photos!
